Daily meteorological data analysis for a 34year period revealed some general rules of temperature and humidity conditions during the main phases of spring wheat development in Saratov Region. The correlation dependence between the crop capacity and vegetation period duration was found. The researches improve the possibility of resources conservation in this region.
The changes in demographic structure of Saratov’s region citizens (particularly the population of big cities) from 1989 to 2006 y. were examined in the article. Socio-economic characterization of region’s citizens was given by such indexes as: education, paycheque, work status and kinds of economic activity. In the article census information (2002 y.) was used. Ethnical aspect was also examined.
In the article some results of complex researches of precipitating mesoscale cloudness on Penza experimental meteorological range are resulted. On the data of special radar and meteorological observations the conditions of formation and development of 12 mesоscale cloudy zones and 14 of cloud-bands are analysed in air mass synoptic situations. Is shown, that these cloudy formations can develop with adverse for realization deep convection thermal conditions. In this case their development can be caused by presence of some dynamic factors.
We carried out the analysis of the power spectrum of the time series of the daily mean values of the surface air temperature in Saratov city (Russia) in the time interval from 1945 through 1999. In the power spectrum are discovered two tidal harmonics, the harmonic with the period of synodic month, connected with a change in the insolation during the motion of system the Earth – Moon around the common center of masses, and also harmonic, which corresponds to the average period of rotation of the active regions of the Sun.
In the article results of research concerning ability of atmosphere in self-purification in Saratov and the Saratov region are presented. Dynamics of the atmospheric self-purification coefficient in various areas of the Saratov region is analysed during warm and cold seasons for the long-term period and from 2000 to 2004. The formula of the atmospheric self-purification coefficient’s calculation is improved according to regional climate conditions. Maps of spatial differences in atmospheric ability for self-purification on the territory of Saratov are constructed.
The question is problem of the structurally-dynamical school in landscape science. The estimation of region landscape structure is resulted on the example of the forest area in natural park «Kumysnaya polyana» by means of geophysical and biogeophysical indicators. The Lysogorsky plateau near Saratov-city is considered as a small local landscape model of southern forest-steppe of the Saratov region.

According to field researches of the Left bank Volga river in Saratov region in article are shortly presented descriptions of two steppe sites which are unique for this strongly agriculturally transformed territory. The inference are made about necessity of special researches around there, because it is the most perspective for search steppe protected areas.

Based on geomodeling are created models of oil outflow, explosive concentration in the time of oil evaporation, models of overpressure risk areas’ radius, thermal radiation risk area modeling in time of oil fire.
This article is devoted to questions of digital modeling of river basin area. The basin of the Tereshka River appears as the research object. The author results detailed algorithm of river basin geomodeling by using of computer software (ArcGIS, ESRI) on the basis of the space data (SRTM). Characterizing relief and water flow models are created. As a result watersheds and stream network are delineated.
The results of investigation of main Earth radiation budget (ERB) components derived from the measurement on the Nimbus-6 and Nimbus-7 satellites and published in four NASA atlases are given. The data of latitudinal albedo distribution are described. The methodic for receiving of global and hemisphere values of albedo is proposed. It is showed that global averaged albedo values from Nimbus-6 satellite are less than from Nimbus-7 at 5 albedo units (0,28 and 0,33 correspondingly). The annual variations of global and hemispherical albedo values are discussed.
The paper is continuation of a work, published earlier and gives the details of the method of determination of daily averaged albedo values in high and nearpolar latitudes. The examples of calculations are given.

The analysis of meteorological data obtained daily for 67 years was made to select the criteria for evaluation of hardiness and wintering of winter crops. The highest repetition frequency of disadvantageous winters was observed in 1960-s. The increase of temperature and precipitation during the winter in the past thirty years has created advantageous conditions for cultivation of winter crops in Saratov Region.
In this article the method of creation a cartographic model of the geoecological situation of a territory is considered. The description of maps creation and their purpose is given. The necessity of relief using as the object of mapping in the creating a geoecological map is justified.
The article considers climatic and soil factors, that limit adoption of plant-breeding within the north semidesert. Analysis of long-term observations data in Aleksandrov Guy weather station, thematic maps (soil and landscape maps), space images and field research materials were made for this work. As the result of performed work, authors made the list of agricultural crops that could be recommended for cultivation in semi-arid term of Saratov Zavolzhie.
In article on the basis of field researches August, 2009. The problem of pollution by manganese of waters of the Bolshoy Irgiz river in the Saratov and Samara areas, and also on a water fence of Pugachev is considered. Results of chemical-analytical works about quality of river water in a channel, flood-plain lakes, ponds and water basins of Bolshoy Irgiza, and also on a city water fence and water supply systems are resulted.
